Agriculture Roundtable Goes Virtual for 2020

For the first time, the 18th annual AgCareers.com North American Ag & Food HR Roundtable is going virtual on August 5, 2020. This premier event will feature the same valuable educational content, along with creative virtual ways to network with human resource professionals, recruitment specialists, managers, leaders, college career services and faculty, and industry association representatives.

“For the safety and concern of our participants during COVID-19, AgCareers.com decided it was best to hold this year’s annual HR Roundtable virtually,” said Erika Osmundson, AgCareers.com Director of Marketing & Communications. “We look forward to bringing back some normalcy for participants by providing quality educational content plus networking and connection opportunities,” added Osmundson.

The Ag & Food HR Roundtable provides relevant content, examining recruitment and retention specifically within the ag and food industry. The 2020 event will be a virtual day-long live program, with sessions on student recruitment, mental health, navigating the non-traditional workplace, virtual recruitment strategies, and COVID’s impact on the ag workforce. The Peterson Farm Brothers will end the day with an entertaining, positive outlook for agriculture!

Registration also includes access to a series of on-demand content, including international recruitment, retention, having difficult conversations, student employment, benefits, and compensation webinars to watch at the participant’s convenience. In addition, registration incorporates table topic networking sessions. Participants are encouraged to register now to get their first choice of optional networking sessions.

Participants may earn continuing education credits for virtual attendance through SHRM and HRCI.

A special thank you to host Syngenta and sponsors Gavilon, Wilbur-Ellis, OK Foods, and Noble Research Institute.
